Kontingen Kabupaten Jepara sabet juara umum 3 dalam Pekan Olahraga dan Seni Antar Pondok Pesantren (POSPEDA) Tingkat Jawa Tengah (Pospeda Jateng) tahun 2019 dengan membawa pulang empat medali emas , satu medali perak dan tiga medali perunggu. Kegiatan tiga tahunan ini dilaksanakan di Ponpes Dar Al Quran Al Islami yang berada di wilayah Kali Bulu, Lebaksiu Kidul, Winong, Lebaksiu, Tegal, Jawa Tengah. (13 – 15 September 2019). Kakanwil Kemenag Jateng, Farhani, membuka secara resmi POSPEDA VIII Tahun 2019, sekaligus menyampaikan apresiasi dan sambutannya terkait kegiatan ini. POSPEDA merupakan salah satu kegiatan rutin yang di era reformasi birokrasi ini digunakan untuk meningkatkan mutu para santri kita, dan dilaksanakan setiap tiga tahun secara nasional, jelas Farhani.
Kepala Kankemenag Kab. Jepara Nor Rosyid saat kami konfirmasi via media sosial WhatsApp pada Senin (16/9/2019) karena sedang melaksanakan tugas dinas luar mengatakan, Keberhasilan para santri-santri tersebut merupakan hasil kerja keras santri Pondok Pesantren Kab. Jepara dalam belajar dan berlatih. Menurutnya ini merupakan sebuah prestasi yang luar biasa dan memiliki nilai bagi para santri Pondok Pesantren untuk berprestasi dalam dunia olahraga dan seni. “Pekan olahraga untuk santri ini merupakan salah satu ajang untuk menyalurkan bakat dan kemampuan santri-santri Pondok Pesantren. Dengan terlaksananya kejuaraan tersebut para santri bisa mengeksplor kemampuan dan bakat seni dan olahraga sesuai dengan bidang masing-masing dengan tujuan untuk melahirkan atlet handal dari kalangan santri Pondok Pesantren,” ungkap Rosyid.
Sementara, Kasi Pendidikan Diniyah dan Pondok Pesantren (PDPP) Kemenag Kab. Jepara Sudirmanto menyampaikan, kemenangan ini Karena kerjasama dan perjuangan santriwan santriwati, Guru Pembimbing dan semua jajaran pondok pesantren serta semua ini tak lepas berkat Arahan dan Bimbingan dari Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara. Kepala Kankemenag Kab. Jepara terus memberikan arahan dan semangat kepada seluruh Jajaran Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara agar berpacu dalam prestasi, maka dengan suplemen tambahan semangat tersebut khususnya Kontingen Pospeda Kabupaten Jepara Tahun 2019 berjuang dengan semangat tinggi sehingga mahkota Juara Umum 3 di bawa pulang ke Kabupaten Jepara, ujar Dirmanto. Dirmanto mengungkapkan, ada empat cabor atletik yang dipertandingkan di Pospeda Jateng VIII. Yakni lari sprint 100 meter, lari 400 m, lari 5.000 meter dan lompat jauh. Masing-masing ada kategori putra dan putri. Sehingga total ada delapan medali emas yang diperebutkan, terangnya. Juara I Kab. Pati : 5 Emas 6 Perak 0 Perunggu Juara II Kab. Klaten : 4 Emas 3 Perak 2 Perunggu Juara III Kab. Jepara : 4 Emas 1 Perak 3 Perunggu.
