Jepara – Madrasah-madrasah di Kabupaten Jepara menyelenggarakan kegiatan visitasi akreditasi, hadir pada kesempatan tersebut Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara, diwakili Pengawas Madrasah, Tim Assesor dari BAN S/M, serta para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan. Acara berlangsung pagi sejak pukul 07.00 WIB, Jumat (13/09).
Kepala Seksi Pendidikan Madrasah Lutfiah dimintai keterangan menuturkan akreditasi adalah pengakuan dan penilaian terhadap suatu lembaga pendidikan tentang kelayakan dan kinerja suatu lembaga pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Badan Akreditasi Sekolah Nasional (BASNAS)/ Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah (BAN-S/M) yang kemudian hasilnya berbentuk pengakuan peringkat kelayakan. Akreditasi ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan keadaan sekolah yang sebenarnya dengan kriteria standar yang telah ditetapkan.
Tahun ini menurutnya banyak madrasah di Kabupaten Jepara baik di tingkat Raudlatul Athfal, Madarasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Madarsah aliyah yang mendapat giliran untuk diakreditasi oleh BAN S/M. Satu madrasah akan mendapatkan status terakreditasi jika keadaan sekolah yang sebenarnya telah memenuhi kriteria standar yang telah ditetapkan. Sebaliknya, sekolah tidak dapat terakreditasi jika keadaan sekolah yang sebenarnya tidak memenuhi kriteria standar yang telah ditetapkan.
“Dengan demikian, hasil dari akreditasi adalah pengakuan terakreditasi atau tidak terakreditasi,” ujar Lutfiah.
Madrasah harus bangga ketika diakreditasi karena akreditasi adalah bentuk pengakuan terhadap lembaga pendidikan dan menunjukan bahwa lembaga tersebut telah memenuhi syarat baku atau standard dankriteria tertentu. Hasil dari penilaian kelayakan dan kinerja lembaga ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk peringkat kelayakan dengan berbagai klasifikasi yaitu, klasifikasi A (amat baik) dengan nilai antara 86 s.d. 100, nilai B (baik) dengan nilai 71 s.d. 85 dan terakhir nilai C 9cukup) dengan nilai antara 56 s.d 70.
“Madrasah yang diakreditasi tidak harus mengada-adakan sesuatu yang sebelumnya tidak ada,” imbuhnya.
Menurutnya dengan penilaian kondisi yang sebenarnya di madrasah pada akhirnya akan memberi manfaat banyak bagi madrasah itu sendiri yaitu bisa terpetakan ada di posisi seperti apa lembaga saat ini. Harapannya setelah bisa terpetakan akan diambil langkah nyata, mengevalusi hal yang sekiranya kurang dan akan mempertahankan dan meningkatkan segala hal yang sudah sesuai dengan standard kelayakan dari BAN S/M.
Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum 01 Bandungharjo Donorojo sebelah ujung timur utara kabupaten Jepara mendapat kesempatan yang sama untuk diakreditasi Tim Asesor BAN S/M pada tanggal 13-14 September 2019. Semoga hasil terbaik dihasilkan, Madrasah lebih baik dan lebih baik Madrasah. (sn)
