Jepara – Universitas Terbuka Provinsi Jawa Tengah melakukan sosialisasi dan promosi di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara yang bertempat di Aula 2 Kemenag Jepara, Kamis (13/09).
Hadir dalam kesempatan ini, Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama berserta Kepala Seksi dan Penyelenggara, Rektor Universitas Terbuka Jawa Tengah, Suparti, bersama beberapa pengurus UT, Pengurus IGRA Jepara dan Seluruh Guru RA se-Kab. Jepara.
Ketua IGRA Jepara, Siti Muzari’ah, menyampaikan bahwa sebagai dampak dari kebijakan pemerintah dimana pendidik anak usia dini harus berkualifikasi akademik minimal sarjana strata satu pendidikan anak usia dini, maka Kelompok Kerja Ikatan Guru Raidlatul Athfal bekerja sama dengan Universitas Terbuka Provinsi Jawa Tengah mengadakan kerja sama atau MoU guna mengakomodir guru RA yang belum berkualifikasi akademik.
Tidak hanya bagi guru yang belum pernah sama sekali menempuh pendidikan stata satu, tetapi juga bagi guru yang belum linier atau sesuai dengan jurusan profesi yang diambilnya, yakni pendidikan anak usia dini.
Kelas pertama dibuka sudah berhasil menarik minat hingga 50 pendidik anak usia dini dan sudah ada 46 calon mahasiswa yang sudah teregistrasi. Peminta tidak hanya terdiri dari pengurus IGRA saja, melainkan juga anggota atau dari masyarakat umum.
Sementara itu Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara, Nor Rosyid, menambahkan bahwa pendidikan sangatlah penting dalam hidup.
“Jangan sampai berhenti mencari ilmu. Carilah kemanapun ia berada. Setinggi apapun ia berada. Jika sudah S1 pun nanti jangan cepat berpuas diri, silahkan dilanjut ke S2 atau bahkan S3. Karena semakin tinggi ilmu yang didapat, maka semakin berhasil pula pendidikan yang diajarkan oleh guru tersebut” ujar Nor Rosyid.
Rektor Universitas Terbuka Jawa Tengah, Suparti, turut menambahkan bahwa nantinya para guru yang menjadi calon mahasiswa baru, tidak akan dikenakan tes masuk. Jikapun ada, itu khusus bagi yang ingin mendapatkan beasiswa.
“Pelayanan perkuliahan juga tidak dilaksanakan setiap hari seperti kuliah regular, namun hanya tiga hari dalam seminggu. Itupun tutorial layanannya akan dilaksanakan secara jarak jauh” ujar Suparti. (fm)
