Jepara – MIN 2 JEPARA menggelar acara Santunan Yatama pada tanggal 20 September 2018 di Aula MIN 2 Jepara.
Dalam acara ini dihadiri Perwakilan pengurus Yayasan, Kepala, seluruh dewan guru dan pegawai, serta seluruh siswa-siswi MIN 2 Jepara.
Kepala MIN 2 Jepara, Muhajir, dalam sambutannya menerangkan bahwa acara ini bertujuan melatih siswa siswi untuk saling bersedekah kepada sesama terutama kepada teman Meraka yang yatim atau piyatu.
Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam hadisnya bersabda, “Kedudukanku dan orang yang mengasuh anak yatim di surga seperti kedua jari ini atau bagaikan ini dan ini. (HR. Bukhori)”.
Hal ini pun menjadi dasar dari pentingnya menyantuni anak yatim, dimana orang yang mau mengurus anak yatim, kelak di surga orang tersebut akan sangat dekat sekali dengan Nabi Muhammad SAW.
Kegiatan ini juga diselenggarakan bertepatan pada tanggal 10 asyuro dimana hari tersebut merupakan hari yang istimewa bagi umat Islam.
“Ada banyak sekali momen atau pentiwa penting yang terjadi pada tanggal 10 asyuro ini. Untuk itu kami berharap dengan dilaksanakannya di hari yang istimewa ini, kegiatan ini bisa menjadi lebih berkah dan membawa manfaat lebih kepada penerimanya” ujar Muhajir.
Dalam acara ini sedekah dikumpulkan murni dari siswa siswi dan seluruh warga MIN 2 Jepara, dan diserahkan kepada 27 siswa siswi Yatama yang berhak menerima santunan. (mhrs)
