Jepara – Kementerian Agama melalui MTsN 1 Bawu Jepara menyelenggarakan olimpiade sains SD/MI mata pelajaran Matematika, IPA, Ilmu Pengetahuan Umum dan B. Inggris tingkat Jawa Tengah.
Tercatat ada 174 kontengen dari seluruh SD/MI tingkat Jawa Tengah yang beradu kecerdasan dalam ajang Olimpiade Sains tingkat Jawa Tengah 2018.
Ajang ini diselenggarakan di MTsN 1 Bawu Jepara, Senin, (26/03).
Acara diawali dengan upacara pembukaan di halaman madrasah yang dipimpin oleh Kepala MTsN 1 Bawu Jepara, Umi Hanik, yang bertindak sebagai inspektur upacara.
Upacara pembukaan dihadiri oleh Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kab. Jepara, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Kepala Madrasah beserta guru dan seluruh siswa yang mengikuti olimpiade ini.
Pembukaan Olimpiade sains tingkat Jawa Tengah ini dibuka oleh kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kab. Jepara, Nor Rosyid, ditandai dengan pemotongan tali balon dan kembang api.
Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kab. Jepara, Nor Rosyid, dalam sambutannya saat memotong tali balon, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan upaya untuk melakukan uji kemampuan siswa tingkat SD.
“Ajang ini menjadi kesempatan yang tepat untuk menumbuhkembangkan semangat berkompetisi dan berprestasi.” ujar Nor Rosyid.
Sementara itu Kepala MTsN 1 Jepara, Umi Hanik, mengucapkan selamat dan sukses atas terselenggaranya kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menggali potensi dari masing-masing anak didik untuk bisa mengeluarkan kemampuan terbaiknya dalam memahami dan menerapkan mata pelajaran yang sudah diserap disekolah.
Umi Hanik juga menyampaikan bahwa apabila anak didik yang berprestasi mau bersekolah di MTsN 1 Jepara, maka akan mendapat apresiasi yang besar dar i madrasah.
