Prestasi mengesankan kembali ditorehkan oleh MAN Bawu Jepara, kali ini karya dua orang guru, yaitu Wahyudi, S.Pd. dan Teguh,M. Pd yang mengantarkan mereka berdua lolos sebagai peserta I lomba Anti Corruption Teacher Supercamp 2017 bersama 100 orang lainnya dari seluruh Indonesia. Sementara dari Kabupaten Jepara mengirim total 4 peserta yang lolos seleksi pertama untuk selanjutnya mengikuti seleksi babak kedua. Selain dari MAN Bawu ada juga dari MTsN Bawu dan Matholibul Huda Mlonggo.
Event ini merupakan kerjasama antara KPK dan Kemenag RI dalam upaya pemberdayaan gerakan anti korupsi yang diinisiasi oleh guru-guru di lingkungan Kementerian Agama. Terdapat empat kategori lomba yaitu teater/drama, permainan/boardgames, pembelajaran anti korupsi, dan cerpen. Adapun kategori yang diikuti oleh 2 guru MAN Baru adalah drama. Teguh, yang keseharian mengajar bahasa Indonesia, mengangkat tema sederhana tentang kehidupan siswa di sekolah melalui judul “Folio yang Terkorupsi”. Sedangkan Wahyudi, guru matematika, mengangkat judul “Pembangunan Boarding School Yang Bersih” untuk menyampaikan pesan bahwa proyek pembangunan sarana prasarana harus bersih dari upaya-upaya korupsi.
Menanggapi pencapaian tersebut, kepala MAN Bawu Jepara , Drs. Amiruddin Aziz mengucapkan selamat atas prestasi yang diraih dan berharap hal ini dapat menjadi motivasi bagi guru-guru lain untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya. Lebih lanjut, Pak Amir, begitu beliau biasa disapa, juga menyatakan akan selalu mendukung kegiatan-kegiatan sejenis dan berharap guru-guru MAN Bawu Jepara mampu mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam berbagai bidang, yang pada akhirnya akan dapat memajukan pembelajaran serta pendidikan bagi segenap warga madrasah.
