Jepara – Siswi kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jepara menjadi atlet yang mencatat prestasi dalam grand final atletik U13, U16 dan U18 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Dalam kejuaraan tersebut atlet atletik MAN 1 Jepara, Anggria Vesty Wulandari mampu meraih dua medali pada cabang yang berbeda. Medali emas untuk cabang Tolak Peluru dan medali perak untuk Lempar Cakram.
Kepala MAN 1 Jepara Ahmad Rifan, M.Ag, melalui via telepon Selasa (18/9) mengatakan, grand final atletik U13, U16 dan U18 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah digelar di Stadion Migas Tri Lomba Juang Semarang 14-15 September. Dalam event tersebut MAN 1 Jepara mengirimkan enam orang atlet terbaiknya. Rinciannya, tiga atlet U13 dan tiga atlet U18.
Sebelum tampil dalam grand final atletik U13, U16 dan U18 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Tengah semua atlet MAN 1 Jepara sudah disiapkan dengan baik. Mereka juga telah mengikuti porsi latihan yang dilakukan bersama pelatih. Kerja keras tersebut terbayar dengan mampu memperoleh dua medali.
Kemampuan Anggria Vesty Wulandari di bidang atletik khususnya tolak peluru terus ia asah. Untuk mencapai prestasi itu, Wulan (–sapaan akrabnya-) rutin latihan setiap hari. Tidak hanya saat mendekati lomba. Namun sudah menjadi rutinitasnya sehari-hari. Selain latihan spesialisasi tolak peluru, ia juga latihan cabang atletik lainnya.
“Dari arahan pelatih, cabang atletik memang harus dikuasai atlet. Ada satu yang menjadi spesialisasi. Tapi cabang lainnya tidak boleh ketinggalan,” ujarnya.
Porsi latihan setiap hari, dibagi antara di rumah dan di lapangan. Khusus di lapangan, durasi dua jam menjadi kewajibannya untuk latihan. Sedangkan latihan di rumah disesuaikan dengan meregangkan otot. Latihan di rumah ini inisiatifnya menambah porsi latihan.
“Kalau di rumah pemanasan dan peregangan. Fisiknya tidak terlalu terkuras. Tapi kalau di lapangan masuk ke teknik,” pungkasnya. (Tgh-Sn)
