Jepara – Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara dalam hal ini Seksi Pendidikan Agama Islam, menggelar Kegiatan Penilaian Kinerja Guru (PKG) PAI Online yang diselenggarakan serentak bagi seluruh guru PAI se-Kabupaten Jepara, Selasa (18/12).
PKG berlangsung di beberapa tempat di Jepara diantaranya di SMAN 1, SMKN 1, SMKN 3, SMPN 1 dan SMPN 2 Jepara dengan diikuti oleh sekitar delapan ratusan guru PAI.
Kepala beserta Kasi PAIS melakukan monitoring di seluruh sekolah yang menggelar penilaian guna melihat seberapa jauh kesiapan sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan guru PAI dalam mengerjakan tes penilaian tersebut.
Kepala Seksi Pendidikan Agama Islam, A. Najib, mengutarakan bahwa penilaian kinerja yang dilakukan seksi PAIS bertujuan untuk memetakan kemampuan guru PAI di Jepara. “pemerintah ingin mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan pengetahuan guru PAI dalam bidang agama. Dengan adanya tes ini, kami berharap guru PAI yang mempunyai kemampuan kinerja yang masih kurang, bisa terlihat. Dan nantinya akan diberikan pelatihan-pelatihan kembali guna meningkatkan kemampuannya” ujar Najib.
Najib juga menyatakan bahwa penilaian ini juga bisa digunakan untuk menunjukkan kegiatan yang tepat di kelas dan membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya para guru sehingga memberikan kontribusi secara langsung pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pengajaran guru di kelas.
Sementara itu Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Jepara, Nor Rosyid, menyebut bahwa penilaian ini juga bertujuan untuk menciptakan guru yang professional. “Guru adalah pendidik profesional yang mempunyai tugas, fungsi, dan peran penting dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Guru yang professional akan berperan aktif dalam pembangaunan nasional dengan cara menciptakan generasi penerus bangsa yang cerdas dan bertaqwa kepada perintah agamanya” ujar Nor Rosyid.
Dengan adanya penilaian kinerja guru ini, diharapkan bisa menjamin terjadinya proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas di semua jenjang pendidikan.
