Sebanyak 139 atlet panjat tebing dari berbagai daerah di Jawa Tengah berlaga di kejuaraan Sirkuit Panjat Tebing Pantura 2 dan Jateng Climb Series 2 di Hutan Kota Rajawali, Batang.
Kejuaraan tingkat Jateng ini digelar selama tiga hari sejak 6 September kemarin.
Ketua Federasi Panjat Tebing Indonesia (FPTI) Kabupaten Batang dr. Bhekti Mastiadji menjelaskan Kejuaraan Sirkuit Panjat Tebing Pantura II dan Jateng Climb series 2 bagian dari pembinaan untuk melatih mental dan fisik atlet agar bisa berprestasi.
“Ananda Nila, siswi kelas XI Mipa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 (MAN 1) Jepara berhasil meraih juara 3 untuk Speed”, tutur Kepala MAN 1 Jepara H. Ah Rif'an, M.Ag. (09/09)
Kejuaraan yang diikuti oleh 14 Kabupaten di Jawa Tengah diikuti oleh kelompok umur 7 tahun sampai dengan 19 tahun. Untuk kelas yang diperebutkan menjadi yang tercepat yakni Speed dan Lead.
“Momentum ini sebagai ajang pembinaan menjadi atlet yang profesional, karena kalau hanya latihan saja tanpa mengikuti kompetisi maka tidak akan terbentuk mental juara. Semoga prestasi ini nantinya bisa mewakili Jawa Tengah maupun Indonesia di kancah olahraga internasional”, tambahnya
